FAQ

How do I create a group or subgroup?

Tap the create group icon (the two-people icon) at the top right of the Chats tab. Once the group is created, you can share an invite link starting with use24h.com/join; a group can have up to 1,000 people. In the group, open the menu at the top right → "Manage Group" → "Create Subgroup". A subgroup can be set to "Public" or "Approval Required".

What does "Approval Required" mean for a subgroup?

For a subgroup that requires approval, main group members can only see its name. They need to send a request, and the subgroup's creator has to approve it before they can join. Until then, they can't see anything inside.

How do I transfer a subgroup to someone else?

Go to the subgroup → Manage Subgroups → "Transfer Subgroup Ownership". You can choose a subgroup member or the main group's creator. Before the creator can leave a subgroup, they also need to pick someone to take over.

What does Freeze do?

The main group's creator can tap "Freeze Project" on the Manage Group page. The main group and all its subgroups become read-only, and members' chats move to the archive automatically, where they can still be viewed and searched. The group can be unfrozen later.
